Day centres are usually run by local authorities and provided handicrafts and soical activities. They gives a disabled person the opportunity to get out of the house regularly to mix with other people and sometimes to earn a small amount from the proceeds of the work. Lunch is provide. Ask the local Social Service deparment if there is one in the area.
