HOW OIL ENZYMES HELP LUBRICATE YOUR ARTERIES

The use of free-flowing oils will help send forth a rich supply
of vital enzymes along with polyunsaturates that will help control
cholesterol overload. Furthermore, oils offer these substances to
help you boost your levels of beneficial high density lipoproteins.
This will also help lubricate your arteries and guard against the risk
of atherosclerosis.
The Enzyme-Rich Oils. These are made from fruits, vege-
tables or seeds. But they must be cold-pressed. This ensures their
enzyme content. Remember that heat will destroy enzymes and if
oils are prepared with a heating process, the valuable fat-fighters
are destroyed. Therefore, read labels carefully. The oil should have
been made with a cold-pressed process.
Does it matter? Yes. Basically, by means of a hydraulic
press, the fruits, vegetables, seeds, nuts, grains, beans, etc., are
pressed so that their oils are extracted along with the enzymes that
are found in the raw plant food. A mechanical expeller press
used to squeeze the oils out of the plant. Pressure is exerted on the
oil seeds through a continuously revolving shaft against a fixed sur-
face. Because this “expeller press” or “cold-pressed” method is                                                                              used without heat, it produces oils that are as close to the natural
state as possible. Such oils have the best color, fragrance, flavor
and nutritional benefits. Such cold-pressed oils are chock full of
essential enzymes. Remember to read labels and use those that have
been prepared in this high-enzyme-retaining manner.
