Scalp Needs Hair-Growing Enzymes. Hair grows out from
follicles (or hair roots) located at the bottom of the layer of your
scalp skin. Along the tubes from which the growing hair shaft
emerges are situated several tiny oil glands. If these oil glands are
sluggish, hair growth and replacement is weak; hair, itself, is brittle.
Dandruff may result. If these oil glands are overactive, then hair (and skin) become too oily or greasy, attract dirt, invite clogging and
scalp problems. Therefore, the goal is to have healthy oil manu-
facture; with the use of a natural “balancer,” this can be accom-
plished. Such a substance is the enzyme. By making enzymes
available to the scalp, the nourishment of this skin covering is help-
ful in growing healthier hair. Loss can also be controlled, if not
averted.
