Exercise in Your Car

(Remember: NEVER exercise in a moving car. Perform
only when sitting and waiting in your car.)
1. Bumper To Bumper. Hold your steering wheel. Tighten
muscles in your buttock. Lift right cheek off the seat. Lower it to
the seat; lift left cheek. Pull in stomach and keeping buttock mus
cles tight, lift and lower each cheek five times. ECP Benefit: lessens
driver fatigue.
2. Rubber Necker. Hold your steering wheel. Raise
shoulders toward your ears; lower them. Raise and lower them five
times. Now, move them in the following circular motion: lift toward
ears, push forward, then down, then as far back as comfortably
possible. Repeat forward circular motion five times. Reverse action
for five backward circular motions.
Next: Relax shoulders, letting your head fall forward. Move
it in a counterclockwise direction, going from chest, to left shoulder,                                                                    to back, to right shoulder, to original forward position. Reverse                                                                     direction of head motion to clockwise direction. Repeat exercise 10
times. ECP Benefit: Relaxes your neck muscles.
3. Spare Tire. Hold your steering wheel. Tighten all ab-
dominal muscles. Hold tight five seconds, then relax. Repeat
exercise 10 times. Tip: To make it more effective…twist torso
to left and then to right, while keeping abdominals tight. Do a total
stomach; helps remove “spare tire” through enzymatic action upon
of 10 twists to right; 10 to left. ECP Benefit: Firms and tones
stored up fat in this region.
4. Fender Bender. (1) With car parked well off the road,
lift left leg, bending it at knee. (2) Clasp left ankle with left hand
place right hand on left front fender. Using right hand for balance,
