Dr. Bingham feels that if every person were to eat three
‘square meals’ a day, a balanced diet, and these meals were selected
for their full quota of vitamins, minerals, enzymes, protein, carbo-
hydrates and fats in the proper proportions, then a person would
have no nutritional deficiency.
These foods, to be fully nutritious, would have to be fresh
from the farm, picked when ripe, and not preserved, canned, dried,
processed, adulterated, or treated with artificial preservatives,
flavorings, colorings or additives. Dr. Bingham then asks, “But what person, in today’s modern
life, can eat this way every day?” This is one reason why metabolic
errors occur and nutritional deficiencies lead to arthritis. He lists
these nutrients which help strengthen the body to resist onset of
arthritis.
Basic Program: Each and every meal must have a raw fruit
or vegetable to supply enzymes. These enzymes are then able to
activate the nutrients listed to help correct any deficiency. These
nutrients are available in supplement form as well as in wholesome
foods. Plan to combine the enzyme (raw foods) with the supplement
(or food) every single day for anticipated improvement.
Suggestion: Check your health problem in the list prepared
for patients by Dr. Bingham, and then note the enzyme-nutrition
healer:
Osteoporosis. You need an increase of enzymes together
with protein and calcium.
Osteoarthritis. Enzymes plus Vitamin D are needed.
Rheumatoid Arthritis. Enzymes plus Vitamin C are needed
to correct your susceptibility to infection and inflammation.
Hypertrophic Arthritis. Enzymes plus Vitamins B-complex
and E are needed to create more flexibility of your arteries and
correct sclerosis (hardening) or poor joint circulation.
Degenerative Arthritis. Enzymes together with Vitamin B6
are important to help ease distress of painful joints. This combo will
help nourish your nervous system to ease the neuritis-like pain which
causes vaso-constriction and interferes with joint circulation and
contributes to arthritis formation.
Traumatic Arthritis. This type of pain brought about after
an injury can be eased with a combination of enzymes plus zinc.
