Basic Cause: Hay fever occurs when airborne pollen and
mold spores are inhaled. These are primarily produced by trees,
grass and ragweed. Repeated exposure to allergens will cause the
production of antibodies which accumulate on the cells of your
nose, eyes or bronchial tubes. When enough sensitizing antibodies
have been formed, then contact with pollen or mold spores pro-
duces symptoms of hay fever. There is a release of histamine, a
substance which causes swelling of the mucous membranes of the
nose and eyes. Other substances cause the smooth muscle of the
bronchial tubes to go into spasm. The reactions occur.
Clean Breathing Apparatus With Enzymes. You need to clean away the accumulated allergens on your trillions of respiratory
and related breathing cells. By “scrubbing” them away, enzymes are
then able to perform another vital anti-hay fever function-rebuild-
ing the fragile, eroded walls of your bronchial tubes. It is this double
action that will give you natural resistance to hay fever.
Fasting Program: At the approach of the hay fever season
in your region, plan to go on a unique but amazingly beneficial
fasting program. On alternate days of the week, enjoy raw foods.
A suggested method:
Day One: usual meal program.
Day Two: fresh raw fruits and their juices exclusively.
Day Three: usual meal program.
Day Four: fresh raw vegetables and their juices exclusively.
Day Five: usual meal program.
Day Six: fresh raw fruits and their juices exclusively.
Day Seven: usual meal program. Optional: raw fruit fast in the
morning; raw vegetable fast in the evening.
Benefits: Without interference or “competition” from
other foods, your digestive system is now able to fully metabolize
these raw foods, use the enzymes for saturation-repair of the fragile
lungs and then build resistance to pollen sensitivity.
In particular, on this alternate day fast, enzymes are able
to neutralize the sensitivity-causing histamine so that there is a
lessening of the nasal swelling that provokes an uncomfortable
series of reactions.
