Headache! It may strike occasionally or frequently. It can
cause minor irritation or more serious debilitation. It is one ailment
for which chemical pain relievers promise help but offer minimal
and temporary relief. It is estimated that over $300 million yearly is
pain relievers that mask the symptoms but do not help heal
the cause. About 8 out of every 10 adults take patent medicines for
headaches at least twice a month. It becomes habit forming. Head-
aches continue to return again and again, with pounding regularity.
The reason here is that the cause (toxic overload) has been over-
looked as the symptoms are merely “drugged” to give the brief
illusion of relief.
WHAT IS A HEADACHE? Simply speaking, it is defined
as “a pain in the head.” It may last several minutes or hours. It may
cover your whole head or one side of it. Perhaps the front or the
back of your head. The pain may be steady or throbbing, barely
noticeable or severe enough to cause confinement. Some folks are
troubled by occasional headaches. Some have them almost daily!
Medical Term: The medical term for headache is cephalal-
gia, taken from two Greek words meaning “a condition of head
pain.” We are told that “headache is not a disease by itself but a
symptom.” This gives us a clue as to the cause of the problem.
Namely, there is an accumulation of waste matter and toxic debris
that causes abrasive irritation to the various neurotransmitters in
your brain and along your entire nervous system. This causes the
symptom of the head pain. To correct it, a form of enzyme cleansing
can be used to help loosen up, dislodge, dissolve and then eliminate the nerve irritants. This helps correct the cause of the headache and
offers hope for relief, often in minutes.
