The Ovaries

Location: In women only, these are situated, one at each
side of the uterus or womb, immediately below the opening of the
Fallopian tube, just before your abdomen. During fertile years, the
ovaries are involved in pregnancy. In later years, they decline in
function and may cause the onset of so-called “change of life.”
Hormone Function: Healthy ovaries release estrogen, a
female sex hormone that promotes fertility and also performs the
important function of providing female characteristics. Skin, hair,
figure and general feminine qualities are influenced by adequate
amounts of estrogen release.
Keeping Youthful in Later Years. When the female body
passes the middle years, there is a decline in production of estrogen
because pregnancy is no longer desirable. With this hormone de-
cline, there may be subsequent losses of youthful feminine qualities.
This can be a problem, but with the availability of enzymes, it can
be balanced and corrected.
Enzyme Control Program. Fresh raw foods, especially seeds
and nuts are prime sources of polyunsaturated fatty acids. These                                                                          are health-building substances that are needed by your enzymes
to keep the dormant ovaries in healthy condition. In effect, enzymes
that can provide feminine qualities similar to the natural estrogen
will metabolize these fatty acids and provide a substitute estrogen
hormone. The aim here is to eat an ample amount of raw seeds and
(shelled, of course) nuts. You need to chow well so that salivary
to nourish your slowed-up ovaries. In so doing, the release of sub-
enzymes can then take out the important ingredients and use them
stitute estrogen can continue and you can hope for
…at any age.
